Emma

Emma is a widely respected leader, strategist and expert in innovation, transformation and PropTech.

A globally recognised keynote speaker, Emma presents on topics such as Digital Disruption, Innovation in the Built-Environment, Smart Cities, Data & Collaboration and Leadership. Emma actively contributes to policy and advocacy discussions in her capacity as Vice Chair of the Australia UK Youth Leadership Forum and as a Global Ambassador for Women In PropTech. Headquartered in New York Women in PropTech seeks to inspire the next generation of female leaders interested in the future of the built environment. Prior to founding Emma Hendry Advisory, Emma was CEO of the Hendry Group, a leading Australian advisory firm recognised for its pioneering use of technology to deliver safer, smarter and sustainable solutions for built-form projects.

Under Emma’s leadership, the Hendry Group has widespread recognition, including from the Australian Financial Review which ranked it in its prestigious Most Innovative Companies List in 2018 and 2019. Emma has also received a number of personal accolades including being named CEO Magazine’s Building and Construction Executive of the Year and one of the Institute of Managers and Leaders’ Emerging Leaders of 2018. With her experience as a female executive and board member in a male-dominated industry she is passionate about promoting diversity, with a focus on supporting women to pursue leadership roles.

Emma has an Executive MBA with Distinction from the Saïd Business School, Oxford University, and a double bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Economics. Emma is a passionate advocate for proptech and women in leadership and is a Global Ambassador – Australia for Women in PropTech. She is also a dedicated philanthropist and supports many causes close to her heart. Emma is currently a Dare to Cure Ambassador for the Children’s Cancer Institute.
